I am Dr Md Imtiaz Mostafiz, Associate Professor in Strategy and International Business at the University of Leicester Business School, University of Leicester, UK. Before joining ULSB, I was a Reader in Business and the Director of the Centre for Global Business and Enterprise, and the Lead for UoA -17 (knowledge and understanding) – REF 2029 at Greater Manchester Business School, University of Bolton, UK. Prior to joining GMBS, I was a Senior Lecturer of International Business and Strategy at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. I also served at Taylor's Business School, Taylor's University, Malaysia, as a Lecturer in International Business.

I am a winner of the Global Talent Award by the British Academy. I lead Early Career Research Development at ENT SIG at the British Academy of Management. I am also a peer-reviewed college member of the British Academy of Management. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK.

I hold a PhD in International Business from Taylor's University and was honoured to receive the "Best Student Paper Award" from the Academy of International Business Western USA Annual Conference in 2018. Furthermore, I completed my MSc in International Business from Monash University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University. My academic achievements reflect my dedication and passion for contributing to the field of international business and entrepreneurship.

I am proud to have my scholarly works published in world-class journals such as the British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review, Multinational Business Review, European Journal of International Management, Strategic Change, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research, among others. As a testament to my commitment to academic excellence, I serve on the Editorial Review Board of Entrepreneurship Research Journal, Business Strategy and Development, and Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economy. Furthermore, I am actively involved with the International Entrepreneurship Scholar's Association as an Ambassador, representing Bangladesh and South-East Asia. This role allows me to contribute to the international entrepreneurship community and further promote research collaboration and knowledge sharing.
